Vaccinations

(Complications/Contraindications/Precautions)

- Anaphylactic reaction or Severe allergies = CONTRAINDICATION for further doses of

that vaccine or others containing that substance

- Common cold and other minor illnesses are NOT contraindication

Allergy: Neomycin and Streptomycin

Contraindication: IPV (Inactive Polio Vaccine), MMR (neomycin), VAR (Varicella)

Intussusception

Contraindication: RV (Rotavirus)

Immunocompromised

Contraindication: RV (Rotavirus), MMR, VAR (Varicella)

MMR

Contraindications: Pregnancy, gelatin, thrombocytopenia, thrombocytopenic purpura,

Recent transfusion with blood products or immunoglobulins
