Alcohol withdrawal:
Manifestations usually start within 4 to 12 hr of the last intake of alcohol and can
continue 5 to 7 days.
Intended effects of Benzodiazepines for alcohol withdrawal: Decrease in the risk of
seizures, maintenance of vitals, decrease in intensity of withdrawal manifestations,
substitution therapy during withdrawal.
Buproprion—Avoid with asthma
