o It can cause decrease bone mineral density or bone loss

o Have adequate intake of CA and vitamin D

• IUDs

o Increase risk of Pelvic Inflam dis

o Uterine perf

o Increase risk of eptopic preg

▪ Look for change in string length

▪ Foul smelling vag discharge

▪ pain with sex

Infertility

o Defined as inability to conceive for 12 months

o Work up

o Sperm analysis 1

st if clear then they start with women

o Women

▪ Any test with dye

• Make sure no allergy to iodine or shellfish
