(Ans- When items that are subject to wear and replacement, like worn
tires, brake pads, batteries, belts, etc. are replaced and the customer is
getting something "better" than they had before. Adjustments must be
made in the price.
What are some of the items that are good for the life of the vehicle and
are not subject to betterment/depreciation adjustments?
(Ans- Springs, transmissions, engines, steering racks and control arms.

(Ans- When the insured or claimant is put in a better position than
