NUR 1020 NURSING CONCEPTS: HEALTH AND WELLNESS ACROSS THE LIFESPAN (5 CREDITS)
This course introduces concepts within the FSW nursing philosophy: health, people and nursing as a
profession. Emphasis is placed on the introduction of the concepts of nursing responsibilities,
professionalism, assessment, health, wellness, and illness. Upon completion of the course students will be
able to apply the concepts to client care, individual-centered care, and quality care goals.
